 yards brawler

Yards Nitro Coffee Brawler

The most approachable of our ales, Brawler is malt forward and delicately hopped for a knockout flavor. Its smooth character, hints of caramel and toast and remarkable drinkability define this ruby-colored brew as a knockout session ale. However, this Brawler is aged with coffee and served on Nitro for a creamier finish.

 Founders Nitro pale ale

Founder's Nitro Pale Ale

Our dry-hopped Pale Ale takes on a completely different attitude when infused with nitrogen. The medium body and malty sweetness remain strong, with an intensified creaminess that gives the citrus of the Cascade hops a smooth allure all its own.

Cape May Avalon Coffee Stout

One of our favorite culinary combinations? Coffee and stout. We take our dark, slightly sweet and full-bodied stout and condition it on locally-roasted coffee from Avalon Coffee. A complex grain bill of pilsner, carafa, caramunich, roasted barley and oats make up the heart of Avalon Coffee Stout, which pairs perfectly with the soft nutty and cocoa notes of Avalon's Latin American-leaning house blend. Whether consumed as a delightful dessert beer or an arousing breakfast beer, Avalon Coffee Stout is one of our fall favorites.

Stone Double Bastard

Stone Double Bastard Ale

Originally brewed to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Arrogant Bastard Ale, Double Bastard Ale debuted in November 1998 as an amped-up version of that already aggressive beer. A huge malt bill and an unreasonable amount of hops make this ale one that will be appreciated by only a few, and that’s just fine with us. We didn’t brew this dark amber monster to please anyone other than ourselves.

New belgium fat tire

New Belgium Fat Tire

Named in honor of our co-founder's bike trip through Europe, Fat Tire Amber Ale marks a turning point in the young electrical engineer's home brewing. Belgian beers use a far broader palette of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Together with co-founder Kim Jordan, they traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire won fans with its sense of balance: toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness.

Cape May Geek Out 3.0

We use a bunch of different hops here at CMBC. From classics like Cascade and Chinook that dominate Cape May IPA, to newer and exotic varieties like Citra and Ekuanot that make up Tide Table. How do we know what a new hop will bring to a beer? We brew with it, of course! For Geek Out 3.0, we decided to make it a bit of a hop experiment focusing by on El Dorado. A new hop for us to play around with, we kept the malt bill unobstructed and the kettle hop additions honest to let the massive amount of dry-hopping take prominence. A light, amber-hued body quickly falls to the background in favor of candied fruit and melons shining bright in center stage, letting the El Dorado hops do all the talking on this one.

 troegs sunshine pils

Troegs Sunshine Pils

Like the rising sun, Sunshine Pils delivers winter, spring, summer and fall. This deceptively complex pilsner is all about the tightrope walk of two-row barley, zesty Saaz hops and lager yeast. It’s a go-to when the sun is shining, and it makes us happy when skies are gray.

Shock Top Belgian White

This brew is a very smooth, easy drinking beer. Citrus smells and tastes, light hops and malts. Leaves palate feeling clean and crisp. Overall, an excellent white beer. Very pleasing to drink a white Belgian style beer that is not overwhelmed with coriander. Coriander taste is very very quiet, almost not there at all. A great white beer.

dogfish head Beer To Drink Music To

Dogfish Head Beer To Drink Music To

Music has been a part of Dogfish Head since before Dogfish Head. So it’s a natural fit for a brewery that makes ‘Analog Beer for the Digital Age’ to be the Official Beer of Record Store Day, a celebration of the unique culture of record stores and the special role they play in their communities.

Of course, as the Official Beer of Record Store Day, we had to create a special brew for the occasion! Now for the second year, that’s just what we’ve done with Beer To Drink Music To. In volume two of this celebratory ale, this Tropical Blonde is brewed with hibiscus flowers and kiwi juice. It’s the perfect marriage of beer and music and best when paired with some of your favorite tunes.

Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA

Esquire Magazine calls our 90 Minute IPA "perhaps the best IPA in America." An imperial IPA best savored from a snifter, 90 Minute has a great malt backbone that stands up to the extreme hopping rate.

90 Minute IPA was the first beer we continuously hopped, allowing for a pungent -- but not crushing -- hop flavor.

Cape May Sawyer Swap

An American style barley wine, very hoppy but with an ultra rich malty flavor. Use of the word" wine" is due to its similar alcoholic strength as a wine; but since it is made from grain rather than fruit, it is, in fact, a beer. This is a big beer with big flavor!

Fegley's Rude Elf Reserve 2015 Release

After being harassed by elves in the toy workshop and the reindeer in the stables, Rudy found his true calling in Santa’s brew house. Keeping his edge and focusing his talents, this elf created a spicy holiday brew that became a Christmas legend of its own. This fabulous holiday ale was first developed and brewed in 1999 at the Bethlehem Brew Works under original head brewer (and co-owner) Jeff Fegley. The Fegley family thought it was appropriate to create a spiced beer to help us celebrate in the City.

 HeavySeas TropiCannon

Heavy Seas TropiCannon

Our brand new citrus IPA is exploding with bright citrus aroma and flavor. Creating an exciting new variation on our flagship Loose Cannon, TropiCannon clocks in at the same 7.25%ABV as its cousin, but packs a full blast of blood orange, grapefruit, mango and lemon flavor. We’ve downplayed some of Loose Cannon’s piney-ness and amped up the citrus by swapping Centennial and Palisade hops for Amarillo and even more Simcoe. We’ve introduced dried grapefruit, orange and lemon peel in the brewing process and added mango, blood orange and more grapefruit post-fermentation.

Magic Hat Zirkus Boy

At first glance, Circus Boy’s German freund, Zirkus Boy, appears to be Circus Boy’s delicious doppelgänger - unfiltered, unfettered and unmatched in his liquid jest. However, upon further inspection, pronounced German Hefeweizen yeast esters of banana and clove are present as they swing over the slightest hint of lemongrass.

Cape May Misty Dawn

If an IPA, a wheat beer and a Belgian Tripel had a baby we would name it Saison. Complex and refreshing, with a predominantly yeasty flavor profile this medium bodied ale is the perfect beer to change seasons with. A distinctive orange leaning copper color sets Misty Dawn on it's journey, bringing strong fruity notes - compliments of an estery yeast, which are accented by a peppery finish. To make this seasonal trip we push the yeast's profile front and center with the addition of coriander and sweet orange peel in the kettle, with a boat load of noble Saaz hops rounding things out. The days are getting longer and the temperature is rising, drink Misty Dawn Saison while eagerly anticipating the warmer months ahead.

Neshaminy Creek Neshaminator

This is our take on a German wheat bock, but with a small twist. We brew this 8.5% ABV holiday offering with orange blossom honey, malted wheat and dark Munich malt, a hint of Chocolate malt, and German Hallertau and Tettnanger hops. While most German bock beers named with the ‘-or’ ending are traditional double bock lagers, we decided to break from tradition a bit with not only the name of this beer, but the use of orange blossom honey as well. Prost!
